A fost odată ca niciodată o fată frumoasă pe nume Cenușăreasa. Ea locuia cu mama și cele două surori vitrege într-o casă mică dintr-un sat. Ele erau rele și egoiste și o tratau pe Cenușăreasa ca o servitoare.
Într-o zi, s-a anunțat că prințul din regat urma să organizeze un mare bal. Toate fetele din regiune au fost invitate să participe, inclusiv cele din casa Cenușăresei. Surorile vitrege s-au bucurat foarte mult și și-au pregătit cele mai frumoase rochii și bijuterii.
Cenușăreasa, în schimb, a fost nevoită să îndeplinească toate sarcinile casnice în timp ce celelalte se pregăteau pentru bal. Ea a început să plângă de tristețe pentru ca nu a avut timp să se pregăteasca. În acel moment, o zână bună a apărut în fața ei.

One day, it was announced that the prince in the kingdom was going to hold a big ball. All the girls in the region were invited to participate, including those from Cinderella’s house. The stepsisters were very happy and prepared their most beautiful dresses and jewelry.
Cinderella, on the other hand, had to do all the household chores while the others were getting ready for the ball. She started crying because she didn’t have time to get ready. At that moment, a kind fairy appeared in front of her.
“Don’t cry,” said the fairy. “I’m going to grant your wish to go to the ball.”
The good fairy turned a pumpkin into a splendid carriage and four rats into four beautiful horses. Then she touched Cinderella’s old dress and turned it into a bright blue dress.
